8 March Women’s Day: The Cameroonian Woman does it Again

Some were ironic in describing the event of the day, “the woman came out this March 8 as a single man, to celebrate International Women’s Day with the international community.

The concept of solidarity which has scored 26 editions of the celebrations in Cameroon.

To a large extent, the woman should be pressed successfully for demanding equality. However, he was not only demanding but also to spend his winnings on the course, which explains why the atmosphere was festive.

Unlike previous years, First Lady Chantal Biya did not personally participate in this 26th edition of the International Women’s Day; she was represented by the Minister of Women’s Empowerment and the Family, Marie Therese Abena Ondoa.

One of the major highlights of the celebration was the Match Past organised in all regional, divisional and sub-divisional headquarters.

Yaounde, the focus was on May 20th Boulevard, where nearly 40,000 women came out very colorful clothing.
