Islamic Radio “Noor” Launched in Cameroon

The opening ceremony of the Islamic radio network, was attended by prominent Muslim governor of Adamawa and citizens interested in religious matters.

Dissemination of religious and cultural programs, such as teaching the memorization and recitation of the Koran and statements by academics on various issues of Islamic world in Arabic and Fulani language were announced as the objectives of the implementation of the radio.

Stressing the importance and role of media in the modern world, scholars and officials attending the event was to establish an Islamic radio step towards the promotion of religious and spiritual values of our society.

Religious Association of Islamic Da’wa Cameroon has financial support to launch the radio.
