Cameroon 2-0 South Africa: Banyana Crash To Cameroon

Banyana Banyana suffered a 2-0 international friendly defeat to Cameroon on Sunday, but will have learned a great deal from the match at the Moruleng Stadium in the North West province.

Goals from Aboudi Ongeuene and Kareen Yoh gave the visitors the win, but the South African women gave a good account of themselves – and know they can still call on five of their foreign-based players before the CAF Women’s Championships kick off on home soil in November.

The top two sides from that competition will go through to the 2011 Fifa Women’s World Cup in Germany.
