CAMEROON: « UNFPA in the News

The Cameroon Tribune reported on 10 February on the recent opening of the UNFPA Garoua Sub office and that the Lagdo district will benefit from the rehabilitation of the maternity hall in their district hospital, a gift of UNFPA. The Programme Officer on Reproductive Health of  the Garoua Sub office, Dr. Rostand Njiki Donou explained  UNFPA and other UN agencies determination to reduce the high maternal mortality rates in the North and Far-North regions.
